Recently one of our members brought up a good point that we hadn’t thought about. He wondered why the main update list on the portal page did not list directly to the update like they do in each of the sites update pages. Well long story short, when we first did the portal page we didn’t have a standard gallery across all sites. Now we do and it is possible to provide the links for the updates that have the directory information in the database. That means all of the more recent updates on the site portal page (from at least January 2010) will now link to the set rather than to the main site page. That saves you a step or two when navigating to updates. You can just login to the main page go to the updates and page through all of the updates and go straight to the set. Today Tony updated the Main Site portal page today and it should all be working as it should. There are also now links to the online store, customer support and the site calendar right there on the main site portal page as well.

If you want to get to the cam archives or other site specific sections you will still have to go the site you want to view, but the portal can be used to just view the updates and photo sets for all of our sites directly if that is what you are looking for.
